I hope you get this; I was in the middle of doing something else (which seemed like I was setting up my own blog) whenI suddenly got kicked out so I hope this shows up for you to read...I didn't want to set up a blog but I thought you told me to go to "new blog" to respond to your comments. I love seeing the pictures you posted but the one of the Iraqi boy giving the finger is really disheartening and disappointing to say the least. Is that what our military has taught the Iraqi children? Maybe I'm overreacting...It's Sunday night after church and I will make this quick so I can take Hollie for a walk before it gets cold out; it was sunny and about 40 today. Not exactly a heat wave but better than it's been for most of this winter. Jason and Cara and Jesse and Christy were here for dinner along with their dogs. With all three of the dogs running around chasing each other (when they're not begging for food)it can get pretty wild. And we usually get into a "discussion" (argument) with Jason about conservative vs. liberal politics before the meal is over. Jason seems to be the token liberal in the family. He even listens to NPR (national public radio) and insists that it's not biased. Interesting...the arguments get pretty heated; in fact they generate more heat than light so the best thing to do is (for your dad) to not bring up political issues at the table especially since Christy seems to get quite upset when arguing is going on. Andy, if you think about it, please ask Vanessa if the flowers I ordered for her parents arrived. I called the floist yesterday to try to find out but they never called me back. By the way, I really enjoy the pictures of you in uniform - awesome!! Post more pictures please! Stay in touch. Love you!
